The old half-dwarf turns and peers at Caspian, then rushes up with a speed that belies his age. Caspian, in turn, looses Susan's hand to meet his dear old tutor in an embrace, laughing with joy.

"Dear boy," Cornelius says, over and over again. "Dear boy. What a treat to see your face."

"And I to see yours, dear Doctor," Caspian says, delighted beyond compare. He steps back, unable to stop smiling. "May I introduce Susan Delgado? Su, this is my dear, dear old friend, tutor, and advisor, Doctor Cornelius."
